[ Theon's tone is curious, and a little guilty. ]

News travels slowly to Winterfell, you know that. I heard no more than the tidbits Maester Luwin took pleasure in sharing with me.

[ robb doesn't speak immediately. when he does, his tone is very carefully measured, but wound tight with...something. anger. fear. ]

The Freys kill me. If the Kingslayer is to be believed, they cut my head off and sew Grey Wind's on in it's place.

[ tell me this isn't true. ]

[turncloak]

Of course, the Kingslayer. Bastion of truth and honor.

[ But despite his flippancy, Theon is peturbed. ]

I dreamed you dead. So I was not surprised to find you in this place.

[ Theon remains convinces this is the afterlife. ]

[ Muttered: ]

[Wait, they've already established that neither one of them knows that.]

[ You know what she doesn't need? Men. ]

[ She puts down the Forge without even dialing. ]

[ Although technically it's not a need and more of a want. Yeah...yeah, a want. That is a good term for it. ]

[ This time, she's halfway through dialing before it occurs to her that wanting is just a jealous, self-centered, weak sort of needing and she shoved the Forge under her pillow. ]

[ Third time's the charm and she actually dials this time and it rings twice - tones echoing in her head with the internal reassurance that she has no reason to be shy (shy is stupid) after what's transpired, that he's not the type to laugh when she could so easily laugh at him too. ]

[ But when she's reminded that this wouldn't be using him in any way she can define as useful to herself, Minatsuki utters an angry growl and hangs up. ]

[bloodwhips]

[ Only to dial right back up again and all but snap; ]

We should do it again.

[turncloak]

[ Why do people keep leaving him cryptic voicemails... ]

[ At least with Minatuski he doesn't just snap What. ]

[ Oh wait, let her clarify. ]

[ Oh, that "it". ]

[ A moment, as it dawns, and he's smirking to himself even as he wants to hang up on her. It's not as though he's capable, but it's also not as though she doesn't know that already. ]
